TERENCE FONTAINE TAKES CENTER STAGE!

FONTAINE: ‘WHAT’S UP HOUSTON!’

Mayor Bill White’s deputy Chief of staff for operations Terence Fontaine took center stage at the Essence Festival Monday night. He gave a welcome to the city to all visitors. “What’s up Houston” was the line he used to get the audience hyped for the last day of the weekend long concert. Estimates are about 200,000 people poured into the city for the music and issues event that’s typically held in New Orleans. No word if the Essence will come back next year.

Insite you’re creating a monster by giving Terence all of this pub…his head is getting too big to fit in his office. But he does a great job here at city hall.

You think his head is getting big, you should see the dome of the insite! He rides in the back seat on the way to our stories because he says he’s a celebrity and celebrities don’t ride in the front.

Terence Fontaine is doing a courageous job and I applaud his stamina and tenacity. His position requires resilience and courage but he handles it well. I hope he will persevere and continue to represent the City of Houston! Congratulations, Terence!
