MICHAEL GILDON’S QUESTION OF THE DAY!

WHAT KIND OF PRISON TIME DO YOU THINK KEN LAY WOULD HAVE REALLY GOTTEN?

I'm not a big fan of Ken Lay's but I've read other posters give him praise as to
how much he had giventh back to the community, charities and the city of
Houston. Yeah, thanks to the 401K's and stock options...But anyway ya'll know
this guy was going to prison but if you were to take a guess what type of
sentence you think he would have gotten? I think about the person that robs a
bank and gets less than $10K, he's given 40+ years. Blue collar crime as opposed to
the guy that embezzles millions (Ken Lay, I mean white collar) and he ends up
with a 2 room cell with bulter/maid service, golf/tennis and maybe a little
fishing for the next 24 months...Personally I think he may have gotten a full
pardon since his boy was GWB.....

Question: Do you think white collar crimes should receive stiffer sentences??
What do you think Ken Lay sentencing should have been???

BUT THAT OF THE GUEST BLOGGER)

not sure what type of sentence he may have been “rewarded”. either way, pardon or 40+, would not have been enough to replace the financial and emotional hardships of the lives he so casually threw aside. But I will say this, if I was to ever go to prison, I want the type of service he and the other white collar (Martha Stewart) criminals receive.
