SHE SAVED ANDREA YATES FROM A LIFE BEHIND PRISON BARS!

WILL SHE WRITE A SEQUEL TO THE BEST SELLING BOOK?

Suzanne O’Malley drops in on The Insite. She is the best selling author who uncovered the fact that the Harris County District Attorney’s office expert psychologist lied on the stand. Dr. Park Dietz claimed Andrea Yates may have seen an episode of Law and Order where a woman drowned her children and followed suit. O’Malley, who’s a friend with the creator of ‘Law and Order’ – Dick Wolf, discovered the episode never occurred. So the case was overturned and Yates got a new trial. So instead of going to prison Yates will likely head to a state mental hospital. O’Malley, who made her media rounds Wednesday at the trial, tells The Insite she has not decided to write a sequel to her best selling book ‘The Unspeakable Crime of Andrea Yates’ just yet. Suzanne thanks for stopping by The Insite…

Yes the Suzanne O. connection may have had an impact. Society has really gone out to lunch on Justice if you ask me. Crazy or not, since when do we care and empathize more with the guilty than we do the innocent. Everyone is so concerned about Andrea and how bad it is for her and the mental anguish she might have suffered from a lifetime in prison. Oh well.

Here is what her innocent 7 year old son remembered last in life:

The last child alive was the first born, seven-year-old Noah. He asked his mother what was wrong with Mary, then turned and ran away. Andrea caught up with him and as he screamed, she dragged him and forced him into the tub next to Mary’s floating body. He fought desperately, coming up for air twice, but Andrea held him down until he was dead. Leaving Noah in the tub, she brought Mary to the bed and laid her in the arms of her brothers.

It’s a good thing Andrea will get help to recover. I guess the day she takes her own life because of her own guilt will be the day we know she’s finally sane.
