KEEP YOUR EYES OPEN FOR THIS LITTLE GIRL!
An Amber Alert issued for a 3 year old girl Tuesday morning after her mother was allegedly stabbed by her father in Channelview. Police say Leandro Jimenez attacked his ex-wife in the parking lot of the Bayou Escape apartments on Bear Bayou. Sonia Jimenez was stabbed in the upper body several times. She was taken to the Memorial Hermann Hospital by Life Flight where she later died. Authorities said following the stabbing, the suspect apparently went to his estranged wife’s home in Pasadena and took their three-year-old daughter, Danielle Jimenez. Danielle is two feet tall with brown hair and brown eyes and weighs 40 pounds. The suspect is believed to be driving a silver 2004 Chevrolet pickup truck with license plate 9NGH92. The pickup is reported to be an extended cab step-side with chrome wheels.
