POWER FAILURE!

The power is out in some parts of downtown Houston after a fire at an electricity substation early Thursday morning. 400 customers will be without power until late this morning according to CenterPoint Energy. Traffic lights are not operating but Metro light rail was not impacted. The fire occurred at about 3 a.m. at a substation at McKee and Elysian.
The same substation caused an outage downtown earlier this year.
