BUILDNG FENCES IN HOUSTON!

PROECTING THE PIERCE ELEVATED!

The city of Houston will decide if there should be fences placed around 9 blocks under the Pierce elevated. The recommendation is being made by the Parking Commission. The city council must vote on the issue today. The fence comes as neigboring businesses complain about parking and the homeless population. There are dozens of parking meters under the Pierce but because of so many homeless people the public is afraid to use the spaces. What do you think? Should more fences be built to protect the public or do you see it as fencing out he homeless?
