I spent several hours outside the Harris County Grand Jury Wednesday afternoon covering a case for tv. But in my time to sit and reflect – several hours – I noticed just how senior most of the members of the grand jury were. No, I don’t have anything against our senior citizens but I believe the grand jury should have a mix of individuals when it comes to age, sex and race. To have just one segment of the population deciding if cops are indicted or civilians are charged, I think is a disservice to the community. The grand jury I saw did not reflect the diverse city we call Houston. Just an Insiteful moment from the Insite!
