The Insite hears from sources the burglary of popular hip hop shop TV Jewelry in Sharpstown Mall may have been an inside job. The business owned by Johnny Dang and pitched by Houston nationally known rapper Paul Wall was hit by several thieves last month. I hear 100’s of thousands of dollars in jewelry – lifted from the showcases which weren’t locked. Also sources say this was one of the only nights inventory wasn’t taken at the insured store. The Insite has been told there were no signs of forced entry into the mall but bolt cutters were used to get through a gate on the front entrance of T-V Jewelry. Also a questionable sign – the burglars were able to pick all the real grillz and leave the fake ones behind. The suspects also took all the lay away orders – now that’s cold. The Insite is also told by individuals who have seen the unedited surveillance tape the burglars took their time and appeared to know what they were looking for. The very expensive so called VIP jewelry wasn’t touched. Supposedly, investigators took one look at the scene and said it’s an inside job. The question – who is behind it?
