HOUSE WHILE IN JAIL: I DIDN’T THINK ABOUT MYSELF – I TRIED TO HELP OTHERS BEHIND BARS!

The Insite has learned Gladys House is going before Houston’s City Council Tuesday to talk about her recent arrest. House, a long time Fourth Ward activist, was arrested two weeks ago after she claims Houston police officers retaliated against her when she filed an internal affairs complaint against two narcotics officers. House was jailed for unlawfully carrying a weapon that she had a concealed weapon permit for. House claims the officers got an arrest warrant for her a day later after they learned she filed a complaint against them. Meanwhile, The Insite was able to obtained this picture of House when she was arrested and jailed by the officers. House says while she was behind bars she didn’t sulk – she focused on and counseled other females who were in jail!
