PETER PAN BOOTED OUT FOR SMUCKERS AT HISD!

SAFE SANDWICHES FOR THE KIDS IN HOUSTON SCHOOLS!

Principals at some Houston schools began pulling their student’s peanut butter sandwiches on Thursday. This comes after a certain lot of Peter Pan peanut butter was linked to 300 cases of salmonella. ConAgra Foods Inc. on Thursday told consumers not to eat Peter Pan brand peanut butter from jars with a product code on the lid beginning “2111.” A second brand linked to the salmonella outbreak, Great Value, is sold only in Wal-Mart stores. Wal-Mart on Thursday ordered all stores and clubs to remove Peter Pan and Great Value peanut butter “based on specific product information provided by ConAgra,” the company said in a statement. The Insite made a stop by West University elementary school where the principal replaced his students Peter Pan sandwiches and replaced them with the HISD Smucker’s brand!
