17TH ANNUAL HESP BLACK HISTORY PROGRAM!

HONORING THE PILLARS OF THE COMMUNITY!






The support workers of the Houston Independent School District held their annual Black history program on Wednesday. The Insite served as the master of ceremonies. The event honored pillars of the community including school support workers who continued to strive to make HISD a better place. Council member Jarvis Johnson was the guest speaker at the event. Carol Mims Galloway was one of the honorees. HISD school board member Kevin Hoffman was in attendance with a host of others. Wretha Thomas is the president of HESP. Teachers union president Gayle Fallon was also on hand for the event!
