MY BROTHER PREMIERES IN THE BAYOU CITY!

A NATIVE HOUSTONIAN MAKES HIS FEATURE FILM DEBUT ON THE SILVER SCREEN!

My Brother, Houston Movie Premiere and VIP Red Carpet Reception, will be held on March 12, 2007 at 5:30 p.m. at AMC Studio 30, 2949 Dunvale, Houston, Texas 77063 and opening to the public on Friday, March 16 at AMC theaters in 19 cities, including Houston�s Studio 30 and Gulf Pointe 30.

Native Houstonian Christopher Scott makes his feature film debut with Vanessa Williams (�Ugly Betty, �Soul Food�) in My Brother. Scott plays James, a developmentally disabled young man who shares an unbreakable bond with his brother Isaiah, played by Nashawn Kearse (Desperate Housewives).

Directed by Academy Award Nominee Anthony Lover and produced by award-winning producer Gregory Segal for Lover�s company, Liberty Artists, My Brother is the story of two impoverished boys, Isaiah and James. Their mother, L’Tisha, played by Williams, finds herself dying of tuberculosis and tries desperately to get her two boys, eight and eleven at the time, adopted together.
