INTERESTING SIGHTING IN JENNINGS, LA!

I WONDER HOW THE FEEL – STILL LIVING IN TRAILERS NEARLY TWO YEARS AFTER KATRINA?

I was probably so intrigued because I’ve reported on them but never actually seen them in person. So when I passed a group of Katrina/FEMA trailers I had to take a picture. These are the forty or so FEMA mobile homes used to house those who escaped Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans back in 2005. The trailer park is right off I-10 in the small city of Jennings, La. That’s about 30 miles east of Lake Charles. I decided to snap a photo and wondered how the folk in them felt still being located away from home nearly two years after the deadly storm. Just an Insite moment to share with you guys!
