WHITE FIGHTING TO KEEP THE POWER OF AIR QUALITY!

THE MAYOR TAKING HIS CASE TO AUSTIN TUESDAY!

The Insite has learned Mayor Bill White is heading to Austin to retain a power he has already used here in the Bayou City. Some state lawmakers are looking at a law that could take away a local city’s ability to create ordinances to protect air quality. White has already publicly come down on the companies that pepper the chemical corridor near Pasadena and Houston. White will make an appeal to lawmakers in Austin on Tuesday to keep the ability for local cities to create local laws that will keep the air clean according to his office. Should local municipalities keep the power or should it be left up to the state and feds? The Insite would like to hear your opinion!
