AM I THE ONLY ONE IRKED BY VALET PARKING EVERY PLACE YOU GO?

I’M NOT RICH – I DON’T HAVE $5 TO GIVE AWAY TO STRANGERS WHO WANT TO PARK MY CAR!

I made a stop by the Galleria Mall on Wednesday to run into the FOX Sports Grill to snap a few pictures of an event. I noticed the parking lot was half empty so I was pretty excited. I parked my car on the lot and began walking inside the Mall. In the distance I hear this guy yelling for my attention. It’s a valet parking attendant who wants five dollars from me to park my car in a free lot. I’m steaming over this, so I ask where is the free parking if this lot is for pay? He tells me he doesn’t know where you can park free at the Galleria. I know he knows, he just wants that $5 dollars. So, while he was determined to play dumb, so was I. I refused to pay and just went on inside – stayed for about a hour and when I came out my car was still there. But this is just a reminder how everyone wants to make a dime off of you. Why should I have to pay someone to park my car when I’m quite able to do it myself. And why are these people allowed to take over these parking lots that used to be free. The same irritating problem now exists in the Woodlands. You can’t park in certain free areas any more because of the valet service. It is extremely irritating to have to pay someone to park your car. I’m not rich and refuse to pretend to be rich by paying people to park my car. In fact, I’m cheap that’s why I didn’t want to pay $5 for that baller parking at the Galleria. Thank God for Walmart– no one bothers me there to pay for parking!
