HOUSTON CITY COUNCIL MEMBER MICHAEL BERRY GOES RADIO 24-7!

HE’LL RUN THE A-M RADIO AIRWAVES IN HOUSTON!

Houston city council member and Mayor Pro-Tem Michael Berry tells The Insite he has accepted a new gig at Clear Channel of Houston. The lawyer by trade says he will be in charge of all the Clear Channel AM stations in the market. Berry, who already hosts a show on KPRC, received the big news earlier this week and tells The Insite this:

“I love radio, and it’s a changing industry. NewsRadio 740 KTRH is a heritage station with a national reputation and a great history. The sports station, The Sports Animal 790, is doing great, and TalkRadio 950 has a strong, broad audience of talk fans. It’s a dream job, frankly.
I have a lot to learn, but Clear Channel has great people in place already. From Chris Baker to Sam Malone to Charlie Palillo, to two institutions of Houston news, J.P. Pritchard and Lana Hughes, it will be exciting to be a part of that team.”
