Houston federal judge David Hittner is getting a lot of praise this week. He is one of the first judges according to some to take pimping as a serious crime. Just ask 30 year old George Anderson. The Beaumont native who called Houston home went by the name ‘Unique’ on the streets. His crime: Unique pimped young girls – girls as young as 14 years old. Anderson according to court records made anywhere from $400 to $700 a day off of his minor streetwalkers who called him Daddy. So when Judge Hittner had a chance to send ‘Unique’ to prison for a long time, the judge spared no expense Wednesday. Federal sentencing guidelines gave the pimp a maximum of 15 and a half years for trafficking in young girls – Hittner went a step further and tacked on additional 6.8 years because Anderson was a convicted bank robber who was on probation when he turned young girls into hookers. So Anderson aka Unique will be spending nearly 22 years behind bars. It’s hard in federal court for a pimp. And with that Judge David Hittner becomes the Insite’s Judge of the week!
