ISAIAH WASHINGTON: AGENT SAYS ACTOR EXPECTS TO BE BACK FOR GREY’S NEW SEASON

IT LOOKS AS IF THE HOUSTONIAN WILL KEEP HIS JOB!

His character ended up not getting hitched on the season finale of “Grey’s Anatomy.” In fact, when last seen, Isaiah Washington was packing his stuff to leave. But the agent for
the actor says that doesn’t necessarily mean the actor is being dumped by the show. Howard Bragman says he and Washington “fully expect to be back in the fall.” Bragman acknowledges there’s no deal yet for Washington to return to the hit A-B-C show. But he says he has no reason to believe Washington won’t be back. Washington got into hot water this season for using an anti-gay
slur against fellow cast member T.R. Knight, then using the same word in falsely denying he used the slur in the first place. He apologized and went into counseling. He has also filmed a public
service announcement for a pair of gay rights groups. Meanwhile, A-B-C has declined comment on Washington’s status with the show.
