FORMER MAYOR LEE P. BROWN PUSHING FOR NEW BANKING CLIENTS!

HOW SHOULD HE REPRESENT THE BANK?

The Insite received a letter over the weekend and it was written by former Mayor Lee Brown. It was one of those form letters written on behalf of Unity National bank. The correspondence congratulates me on being in the ‘Who’s Who in Black Houston’ book and then it asks me to consider opening a banking account at the bank. I’m not quite sure if the words are those of Mayor Brown but it has his signature at the bottom. As some of you know Brown serves on the board of Unity Bank. Do you think it’s a good idea that his name is being used to get customers in a mail out sort of way?
