REMEMBERING THOSE WHO PAID THE ULTIMATE PRICE!

MEMORIAL DAY IN HOUSTON IN PICTURES!

Hundreds of people gathered at the Houston National Cemetery to remember soldiers who have died for this country. The Insite was there and snapped these photos. Now, the program was part of the annual Memorial Day celebration. There were several activities honoring those who have fallen on the battle field from the parade of wreaths to the riderless horse. Several Congressional members were in attendance including Sheila Jackson Lee, Ted Poe, Gene Green and Al Green. The keynote speaker was retired Houston Judge Willie Blackmon. And the good news, the two hour long event didn’t see a drop of rain. Just as the last few people were leaving the cemetery – the sky opened up.
