EVER WONDERED WHAT BECAME OF INSITE COLUMNIST MICHAEL GILDON?

GILDON: IT’S NOT THAT BAD SLEEPING IN A TENT WITH 300 OTHER PEOPLE!

For those of you who have been reading the Insite for a while you may remember former columnist Michael Gildon. He would provide our readers with questions of the day. He’s based out of Baton Rouge, La. I recently received this pic from Gildon who is now in New Mexico. He’s on training for the US Army reserve. Gildon tells me while he and about 300 reservists sleep in one big tent, use it in a port-a-potty and shower in a truck, life isn’t that bad. Whenever he would go to drill on on his training missions around the country I always imagined the government putting him and all of our soldiers in hotel rooms. I guess I was wrong. That leads to a question: Would you serve your country in the Army Reserve? The Insite would like to hear from you!
