Time Warner Cable customers in Houston made the big switch on Tuesday. Comcast transitioned service from Time Warner Cable at midnight.
Comcast says it has invested more than $200 million in the Houston area to improve customer service and reliability. The company also says consumers will have nearly 20 new channels.
The switch affects more than 750,000 Houston-area residents who used Time Warner for their cable television, high-speed Internet, and telephone.
The change also brings newly branded Comcast trucks, signs, and employee uniforms.
The company says customers with questions can call 1-800-COMCAST or visit http://www.comcast.com/houston/
