JUDGE HILARY GREEN: IT’S NOW OFFICIAL!
The Insite made it just in time with FOX 26 cameras and Insite cam for Hilary Greens swearing in ceremony at the Harris County Commissioners court Wednesday morning. The event, which took about 5 minutes, was presided over by commissioner El Franco Lee. Green, a TSU law school graduate, will fill the unexpired term of Betty Brock Bell in precinct 7. Green was surrounded by a small group of supporter’s at the event. On that list: Her husband – Houston city councilman Ronald Green, CM Anne Clutterbuck, CM Peter Brown, State Representative Borris Miles, CM M.J. Khan, Justice of the Peace Armando Rodriguez and a host of others. Green says she will definitely run for the position when her appointed term expires in January. Green says she won’t likely begin full time work on the bench until August!
