IS THIS A JAB AT HOUSTON: ESSENCE FEST A SUCCESS AFTER MOVING BACK TO NEW ORLEANS!

DID YOU MISS THE ESSENCE FEST IN HOUSTON THIS YEAR OR DO YOU CARE?

Essence says its annual music festival was “tremendously successful” this year. An estimated 200-thousand people turned out for the three-day event, which returned to New
Orleans after being moved to Houston last year because of Hurricane
Katrina. The festival had been held in New Orleans over the Fourth
of July weekend since it began in 1995. No word on what the attendance was
last year here in Houston. Do you think organizers are sending a message to the city of Houston by claiming it was such a huge success back in the Big Easy?
