COUNCILMAN MICHAEL BERRY VERSUS THE ANTI-BUSH CHENEY FOLK!

THEY JUST WANT TO SPOUT THEIR ANTI-BUSH MESSAGE ON TELEVISION!

If you ask anyone in the Tuesday session of public speakers session at city hall they will acknowledge Houston City Councilman Michael Berry fired the first shot. It was aimed at several people who packed into council chambers asking for a resolution. They wanted city leaders to issue the document in support of impeachment of President George Bush and Vice Prez Dick Cheney. There were more than a dozen who were scheduled to deliver the message to the local governing body. But the list was just too long for Councilman Berry. He said city hall was about handling city business and not a platform for those who wanted to spout their agenda on during the session that’s televised in Houston. Berry’s words quickly earned him a collective boo from the crowd. But the conservative talk show host wasn’t done just yet. He made a motion that no one supported to push all of the anti-Bush folk to the end of the line. But council members Ada Edwards and Peter Brown came to the group’s defense. They both said all citizens should be heard if they have a view to express at city hall. Soon after Berry disappeared. The list of anti-Bush folk continued with their 3 minutes each talk time before the city council!
