Lots of people expected troubled Houston rapper Lil Flip in federal court Monday morning but he wasn’t there. His case has been delayed. If you didn’t know Flip AKA Wesley Weston is being sued by the folk from SuckaFree Records. The company has filed a $6 million dollar claim against the rapper and his current label Sony. SuckaFree executives are claiming Flip breached his contract by signing with Sony and leaving the independent label behind. The Insite had a weekend interview set up with Flip to address this issue as well as his recent arrest for credit card abuse but he never showed. The federal case has been set for another date that hasn’t been released by the courts as of yet!
Note: The Insite hears Lil Flip never knew about an interview set up with FOX 26 and myself through a mediator. So he did not fail to show up because he never knew there was an interview!
