SLADE TRIAL GETTING OFF TO A LATE START!

THE COURTROOM IS TO CAPACITY!

All the leading characters are in Judge Brock Thomas’ courtroom this morning but closing arguments have not started in the criminal trial of Dr. Priscilla Slade. The former TSU President is accused of using university funds for her own personal use. Court was set to begin at 8:45 am but as of 9:45 am we have yet to hear jury instructions or closing arguments. Slade is patiently waiting with her defense team. Prosecutor Donna Goode is going over her notes while the audience is to capacity. Everyone from the TSU 3 to Rev. Bill Lawson.
