The Harris County District Attorney has taken the stand in his contempt hearing. Chuck Rosenthal is accused of deleting crucial emails that were subpoenaed for an ongoing civil case. Rosenthal is being questioned by Federal Judge Kenneth Hoyt. Rosenthal has said he has had limited experience and use of computers. He told the judge he is no expert when it comes to using computers. Rosenthal says if he has an issue or problem with his computer he calls on his secretary and the information technology department to provide him with assistance. There have been no questions yet about him deleting up to 2500 emails in his Harris Count email account!
Update: Rosenthal acknowledge deleting at least 2500 emails from his Harris County computer…However, he tells federal Judge Kenneth Hoyt, “I didn’t think I was deleting anything. I thought the system would maintain the documents….to satisfy the subpeona.”
