IT’S GOT TO BE THE WORST STREET IN THE CITY OF HOUSTON!

MORE PATCHES THAN MY GRANDMOTHER’S QUILT!

I was driving home Monday night when 45 North became just a headache. It was backed up for several miles. I assume there was an accident. So I decided to get off the interstate and hit some side streets. That was a big mistake. I ended up driving down Airline between Main and 610. It was one of the roughest, rockiest, uncomfortable rides I’d ever taken. There were so many patches it looked like one of my Grandmother’s quilts. That street was tore up from the floor up. I don’t know if residents in the area have failed to report it or the city is out of money but that street needs to be condemned until it can be repaired. It could leave one with a slight case of wiplash. It’s unfortunate investigative and consumer reporters no longer focus on bad streets because Airline definitely needs a light shined on it. So I’m sending out this warning: Avoid Airline between Main and 610 at all costs!
