Juvenile is trying to deal with a personal tragedy that is being played out in public. He is described as “shocked and devastated” by the shooting death of his 4-year-old daughter. The child, Jelani, long with the girl’s mother and the mother’s 11-year-old daughter were shot to death last week at their home near Atlanta. The alleged shooter is the woman’s 17-year-old son. Anthony Tyrone Jerrell is being held in the DeKalb County, Georgia, jail where he is charged with killing his mother and siblings. The rapper’s manager, Aubrey Francis, says Juvenile is “relaxing and trying to grasp everything of what has happened.” An attorney who represented Juvenile in a paternity suit said this past Saturday that as of that time, he hadn’t spoken with the rap star about the shootings. But he says the situation is “shocking.”
