CRAZY TESTIMONY THAT SHOULD SCARE YOU TO DEATH!

YOU’D BETTER HOPE THIS GALVESTON WOMAN ISN’T TAKING CARE OF YOUR RELATIVE AT THE SENIOR FACILITY!

I was recently in Galveston to cover a criminal case in their county court building. What I didn’t know was my case was being handled behind closed doors. The prosecutor and defense attorney changed their plans to address the issue in open court. But I didn’t know this. So I decide to sit in on a trial until my case was addressed. Keep in mind I don’t know the basis for this totally random trial I was sitting in on or what transpired to land it in criminal court. But it was disturbing at best. There was a woman on the stand testifying. She was a black female about 50 years old wearing scrubs. Her English was broken at best. She told how she worked at a Galveston area rest home or senior citizen’s facility. Then the attorney asked her if she had anything to drink the day in question. She responded she had a ‘few’ beers before going to work. I’m thinking to myself what in the world. The woman appeared to be very open and honest in her testimony. The lawyer then asked if she had anything else while at work. Here’s where my jaw dropped. The woman without hesitation said she had smoked crack during her break from work. Crack people! This is a retirement home. I wouldn’t put my worst enemy in that facility while the workers are smoking crack on the clock. The woman then went on to explain how she smelled what appeared to be gas fuel in the room. She said she looked under the dark using a cigarette lighter. Apparently, it was dark. She said when she flicked her bic she was knocked against the wall. Then I got a text on my phone and had to walk out before finishing the woman’s testimony in the courtroom. But that is just madness. A woman admits to drinking before going into work and then smoking crack while on a break. She also told how she smelled gas but still lit a lighter under the bed. I wasn’t quite sure if there was a resident in the bed, but this is definitely a rest home I want to stay far away from!
