THE SKETCH OF THE RIVER OAKS ABDUCTOR!

POLICE NEED YOUR HELP LOCATING THIS MAN!

A sketch was released and a $5,000 reward was announced Tuesday morning for information that leads police to the man who abducted a woman in the River Oaks area and shoved her in the trunk of a car.

Officials with Crime Stoppers and investigators with the Houston Police Department described the suspect as a black man in his early-to-mid 40s, about 6 feet tall with a big build, fair complexion and freckles.

Investigators said the man depicted in the sketch and another man abducted a woman in the 3800 block of Del Monte at about 7 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 28. The woman told officials she was then shoved into the trunk of a late-model silver or champagne-colored four-door car.

The woman escaped the trunk by finding an emergency trunk release. She suffered bumps and bruises and was treated at a hospital for her injuries.

Crime Stoppers is offering up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest and charges. Anyone with information is encouraged to call Crime Stoppers at (713) 222-TIPS. All calls are anonymous.
