An assistant principal at a Fort Bend County school was taken into custody Thursday morning on Peeping Tom allegations.
Garcia Middle School Asst. Principal John Jeffrey Jones, 39, was arrested by Sugar Land police officers at 6 a.m. and charged him with two counts of disorderly conduct — a Class C misdemeanor.
A city official told FOX 26 News that police arrested Jone after it was reported he was looking into a neighbor’s window in the 14000 block of Erin Court in the Reagu Lakes subdivision. The arrest did not happen or campus and now students were involved.
Jones remained in custody at the city’s jail Thursday evening.
Jones, who has worked in the district for 17 years and at Garcia for three years, has been placed on administrative leave with pay.
