WOULD YOU WANT GOVERNOR RICK PERRY TO SIT ON YOUR JURY IN A TRIAL!

DO YOU THINK HE’D SIDE WITH YOU OR THE PROSECUTION?

Gov. Rick Perry reported for jury duty in municipal court Tuesday, but he wasn’t selected for the panel in a traffic citation case. Perry, a Republican, said it was the third time he’s been called — the last time was in 2002 — but “for some reason I always get struck.” Perry was in the jury pool for the case of Maria De Los Angeles Garcia, who was challenging a ticket for failing to yield at a stop sign. He was designated as “Juror No. 1” in the jury pool but was not chosen for the six-member panel. During pretrial questioning of the entire group, Perry acknowledged that he’s received traffic citations in the past and later told reporters he didn’t know how many. “I’ll have to let you go back and research that. More than one, probably,” he said. “Not lately.” That leads the Insite to a question…If you were facing some kind of trial would you want Governor Perry to sit on your jury? Tell why and why not!
