THE BERRY FAMILY IS NOW COMPLETE!
I was told about this several months ago…Now Berry is back in the USA with his new son. Here’s what the former councilman / talk show host has to say about the new member of the family:
Ernest Hemingway said in order to become a man one must do 4 things. Well I’ve now done 3 of those. I have NOT fought a bull, but I HAVE planted a tree, I’m currently writing a book, and now, after years of work and God’s blessings, I have a son. My wife and I returned on Friday after 10 days in Ethiopia with our new son, a 2 and a half year old baby boy who is the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen. At 37, I’m an old dad, but I have to say this has been the most wonderful thing ever to happen to me. So if you find me being a little softer, a little sappier, and far more thankful for God’s blessings, it is because I love my baby boy more than life itself. I’ll try not to dwell incessantly on the details of the lil fella, but for those of you who are, or have been, parents, you’ll hopefully forgive me for indulging my overwhelming love of this little piece of heaven. He’s the cutest little thing I’ve ever seen, even when he’s throwing a tantrum or tearing up the house. His birth name was Tegegn (pronounced tuh-GAIN-yuh, which means “he has been found”), which will now be his middle name, and his full name will be Michael Tegegn Berry. So that’s where I’ve been, and what I’ve been up to, and I’ve undertaken my most rewarding role ever.
