BRINGING A NEW MEANING TO EXXON’S ON THE RUN STORES!

I THOUGHT ABOUT TRYING TO STOP THE THIEF AND QUICKLY SHOOK THAT OFF!

The Insite made a stop at the Exxon On The Run store on Woodlands Parkway at Kuykendahl Tuesday night. As I was looking at the $1 DVD machine I heard the store clerk Frank yell. I turned around and caught only a glimpse of a white male in his early 20’s dashing out the door. Under his arms were three 12 packs of Keystone Light beer. I thought to myself what if I ran out the door and captured him. Then I immediately shook that off after remembering all of the heroes who were shot dead for trying to stop someone from stealing a 12-pack of beer from a convenience store. Needless to say, the guy got away. He had someone in a dark colored small pick up truck waiting on the outside. They took off through the parking lot of the Sterling Ridge shopping center. The clerk, Frank, was really upset. He said Exxon’s policy is not to go after thieves. I told him, “good policy.” Frank then called the Sheriff’s Department to report it. I grabbed my flavored water and went home. I’m sure the suspects are somewhere guzzling Keystone Light. I guess this is where I say ‘The End.’
