WILLIE D LAUNCHES A FOUNDATION VERY CLOSE TO HIS HEART!

THE MARVELOUS DENNIS BASEY BREAST CANCER FOUNDATION!

The Insite was there as legendary Houston rapper Willie D of the Geto Boys rolled out his latest project. But this is no ordinary music project. It was a foundation that focuses on education and prevention for those with breast cancer. This issue is very important to Will because his mother died from breast cancer back in 1994. He tells the Insite, “back then I felt powerless but now I can do something about it.” The name of the campaign is the Marvelous Dennis Basey Breast Cancer Foundation. It’s named after Willie D’s mother. The rapper had lots of support at the big launch including fellow Geto Boys member Scarface aka Brad Jordan. Several breast cancer survivors were also in attendance. The Insite was also there along with Torrey ‘T-Dub’ Walker and Kalele ‘Party King’ Thumbutu. Swiff Haywire was on hand along with Marketing Queen Candy Shaw. Here are some the pictures snapped by the Party King!
