FOX 26 NEWS HAS A CAPTIVE AUDIENCE!

NEWS YOU CAN USE BEHIND BARS!

I went to the Galveston County Jail on Thursday to cover a story. When I walked up to the reception area a deputy recognized immediately. We briefly talked and he told me how he would recognize anyone from FOX 26. I asked him why. He said the televisions in the jail and in the common area for the inmates stay on FOX 26. He also said the inmates love the FOX 26 morning news show. The deputy says it’s what they want to watch. How cool is that? Nice to have a captive audience at the Galveston County Jail. Reminds me of the woman who was headed to prison after being sentenced by a judge to some hard time. She still had time to turn around and look at me in the courtroom and say hello to me. Just a slice of life from The Insite!
