WAS IT A GOOD IDEA TO POST THE SALARIES OF HOUSTON WORKERS?

BAD BLOOD BETWEEN COWORKERS AROUND THE CITY OF HOUSTON!

The Insite hears a lot of rumblings out of City Hall because of a recent Houston Chronicle news article. It revealed the salaries of lots of public employees around the city. It includes a database that reveals the take home pay of everyone from HISD’s Abe Saavedra to HPD’s Chief Harold Hurtt. But it also details lower level employees salaries and I think that’s where the problem begins. Do you think the article will cause bad blood between co-workers with them knowing each others salaries? And do you think the article should’ve included anyone below deputy directors and managers? The Insite would love to hear your opinion on this!
