The Houston FBI Bank Robbery Task Force is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the armed man who took a bank teller hostage during a robbery of the Comerica Bank located at 1503 Eldridge Parkway in Houston, Texas earlier today.
At approximately 10:25p.m., the gunman entered the bank, pulled a semiautomatic handgun and placed it against the head of the teller who greeted him.? Taking that teller hostage, he demanded cash, threatened to shoot her, and forced her towards the teller counter.? Another teller behind the counter emptied her cash drawer of money and placed it inside a black bag provided by the gunman. He then released the teller and fled the bank on foot.? No one was physically hurt during the robbery.
The gunman is described as a Hispanic male, approximately 29-31 years old, 5?10?-6? tall, 215 pounds with a thick build.? He was clean shaven with a shaved head.? He carried a black semiautomatic handgun and a black cloth shopping type bag with green lettering to carry the money.? He had a burn scar on his left wrist.? During the robbery, he wore a yellow short sleeved shirt and dark slacks.
