HOBBY AIRPORT WAS LIKE I’VE NEVER SEEN BEFORE!

THE LATEST INFORMATION ON FLIGHTS OUT OF HOUSTON!

It was like a madhouse Thursday at Houston’s Hobby Airport. Thousands upon thousands of people streamed through Houston’s second largest airport as they attempted to escape Big Ike. The storm is moving through the Gulf threatening to disrupt all of our lives. So many people weren’t just sitting around waiting for it to happen, they jumped on flights out of Houston. Some were also leaving Thursday because their weekend flights were canceled as a result of the system. Southwest Airlines officials announced they would end all flights Friday morning at 9am. All operations will cease at Bush Intercontinental Airport around 2pm Friday afternoon. So if you’re not in the skies by 2pm Friday, you won’t be flying out of Houston commercially. Airport workers at Hobby are suggesting you get to the terminal at least 3 hours early to catch your flight. Be careful out there guys!
