Snow Guaranteed for Wonderland in Westchase on Dec. 11 Bring toys or food for House of Amos and West Houston Assistance Ministries More than 75,000 pounds of snow is forecast for Wonderland in Westchase, a community event on Thursday, Dec. 11, from 5:30-8:30 p.m. at Quillian Center, the recreation ministry of First Methodist Houston, at 10570 Westpark Drive at the Sam Houston Tollway. Besides snow, Wonderland in Westchase will feature children’s activities, face painting, musical entertainment, food from local restaurants, fire truck rides, climbing wall, pony rides, mechanical bull, live nativity and Santa and Mrs. Claus.

Admission is a new toy or nonperishable food donation benefiting House of Amos or West Houston Assistance Ministries. Miss Texas USA Brooke Daniels of Tomball will be on hand to greet guests. She was chosen Miss Texas USA in June after being named last year as one of
the 25 most beautiful Houstonians by H Texas Magazine. Christian recording artist Wayne Kerr of Katy will headline the entertainment on two stages.
