A MAN WANTED FOR CAPITAL MURDER CAPTURED!

JAVIER IS OFFICIALLY OFF THE STREETS!

At approximately 9 a.m. today, Dec. 26, Rosenberg PD apprehended Javier “Aguedo” Solis for his involvement in the 1997 Christmas Day murder of Roger Stobaugh.

Police received tips that Solis had been at a home in Rosenberg and monitored the home’s activity. After carefully watching Solis and his activity, he was arrested without incident December 26.

Stobaugh was killed after interrupting a burglary at his home on Pinetex in Houston. Stobaugh struggled with one of the burglars, was shot and died at the scene. One other suspect arrested in the incident identified Javier Solis as the shooter.

Solis was charged with Capital Murder in the 182nd District Court on February 3, 1998 and a warrant was later issued for his arrest.
