KHOU TV reporter Wendell Edwards is leaving Houston. The veteran reporter is switching jobs to become an anchor at an Oklahoma City television station. Edwards tells The Insite he’s both excited and nervous. He says that excitement is because he gets to realize a dream by becoming an anchor. His reservations comes from stepping into the unknown. Edwards says he’s leaving a station where he’s built a reputation as a good reporter and now he’s going to a place where he will essentially be starting over. But Wendell says he’s glad he get the chance to anchor three days a week at his new job while keeping his feet on the streets as a reporter for the rest of the week. Edwards, his wife and daughters will head to Oklahoma this weekend. Good luck Mr. Edwards!
