A CHEAP OR THRIFTY WAY OF EXPANDING THE CREDIT UNION!

DO YOU THINK IT’S A GOOD IDEA TO SAVE MONEY?

It feels like I’ve done this post before and then again it could just be my old age. Anyway, I was at the Houston Police Officers Union when I noticed the expansion across the street at the Houston Police Federal Credit Union. Instead of calling in a construction crew and architect to expand their building for a drive thru they did it the poor school system way. They appeared to have converted to mobile home like structures into drive thru offices. You remember those temporary buildings brought to your school when they ran out of room. Those ‘T’ buildings usually became permanent. I thought it was either a very cheap or thrifty way to expand. By the way, this was done before the market started to slide and the credit crunch. What do you think? Is it thrifty or cheap?
