HPD HAS A NEW CROP OF POLICE OFFICERS IN ITS 200TH GRADUATING CADET CLASS!

THE 200TH CLASS AND GRADUATION CEREMONY!





The Insite made a brief stop by the Houston Police Academy on Wednesday night for a major event. More than 50 recruits/cadets were graduating from the police academy. It was the department’s 200th graduating class. They’re headed out to the streets of Houston to protect the people in the community. It was nearly standing room only at the ceremony. Some of the people attending the event were: Mayor Bill White, Chief Harold Hurtt, Council members Peter brown, MJ Khan, and Mike Sullivan. The department’s command staff was also on hand for the event and to welcome the new cadets to their new blur family. Congratualtion graduates!
