DOWNTOWN HOUSTON’S NIGHT OUT!

DESIGNED TO BRING CRIME AWARENESS TO THE COMMUNITY!

It’s been a long standing tradition around the country over the last decade. It’s called National Night Out. It’s when people in local communities step out of their homes and get to know their neighbors. It’s also a way of preventing crime in your community. The nationwide event was celebrated all over Houston. Downtown was no exception. Dozens of people came out Tuesday evening at Discovery Green to get to know their neighbors and city leaders. On that list was Houston Police Chief Harold Hurtt. He got out and mingled with the crowd. Also attending were police officers, sheriff’s deputies, Metro cops, and Houston Firefighters just to name a few. The Insite also ran into Regina Woolfolk, Victor Senties, Charles Scott (KPRC), and many more…Did you get out and meet your neighbors?
