CITY CONTROLLER ELECT RONALD GREEN ANNOUNCES HIS TRANSITION TEAM!

HE’S PREPARING TO MOVE INTO THE BIG SEAT AT CITY HALL!

Houston City Controller-Elect Ronald Green today announced his transition team.

“As I prepare to succeed Annise Parker as City Controller, I want to be sure the transition is as smooth as possible,” Green said. “These outstanding Houstonians have agreed to volunteer their time to assist with the transition process. I am grateful to each of them and am honored by their commitment to public service.”

Ronald Green is completing his final term as an At-Large Houston City Council Member, where he has served since 2004. He is a former chair and current member of the City’s Budget and Fiscal Affairs Committee, overseeing the city’s annual budget of nearly $4 billion. Green won the December 12th runoff election for City Controller, and will take office on January 4, 2010.
