Good Man, Good Womanchronicles the personal experiences of Johnson, his close friends and colleagues. Additionally, Johnson conducted a survey on his Web site, JeCaryousJohnson.com, and received thousands of responses. A cross section of those comments are captured the in the book.
“I’ve found that people can tend to get in their own way,” Johnson said. “With this book, I hope that readers can identify with my experiences and those of my friends and survey respondents. And then, change the things they keep doing which gives them negative results.”
“I was moved to write this book because I came across so many stories with similar outcomes. Alarmingly, there was a pervasive feeling of hopelessness among men and women alike. I want people to know that their good mate is out there. Just don’t give up. Approaching the situation from a fresh perspective makes the impossible seem possible.”
Johnson is executive producer and CEO of I’m Ready Productions, a national, minority-owned, theatre, television, feature film and music production company based in Houston. His slate of best-selling stage plays includes Cheaper to Keep Her that is currently touring in select cities.
