The Insite had a chance to sit down with prominent Houston attorney Ben Hall this week. He says he is contemplating another run for Mayor of Houston.
I asked the very successful lawyer when would he make that decision. He says if he runs it will likely be in two or 4 years.
Hall once considered a run for Mayor in 2009 before bowing out allowing attorney Gene Locke to run. Both men in the race would’ve split the African American vote. Locke eventually lost his bid.
Hall also says he has not been impressed by current Mayor Annise Parker. He says she has been less than creative in the role as city leader. But Hall says the jury is still out on Parker – he says he wants to give her a chance to prove herself. I would assume so since Mayor Parker has been in office only 4 months!
